Why Is Admission Free?

We believe free attendee admission is our way of giving back to the Fort Worth and DFW community. By welcoming visitors to attend the North Texas Gun Show and explore the DFW Car & Toy Museum at no admission cost, we make it easier for guests to spend their time and dollars supporting the dealers, vendors, collectors, and small businesses that make the show possible.

Free admission also gives visitors the opportunity to experience a distinctive Fort Worth event surrounded by an extensive collection of cars.

What Does Free Admission Include?

Free admission allows attendees to enter the North Texas Gun Show during the published event hours, subject to capacity, event policies, safety procedures, and the Conditions of Entry.

It does not automatically include the purchase of merchandise, firearm transfers, food, museum services outside the event, or any other product or service unless expressly stated by the organizer or vendor.

What Should I Know Before Attending?

Do I need a ticket for free admission?

No, you do not need a ticket to enter the North Texas Gun Show. Check the current show schedule and the organizer’s event notices before traveling in case registration, capacity, or other entry procedures change.

What identification should I bring?

Bring a government-issued photo ID. Identification may be requested for age verification, event-related matters, or a purchase or transfer handled by a licensed dealer. If you have a question about a specific transaction, ask the dealer before proceeding.

NOTICE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THIS PRIVATE EVENT

All firearms entering the show must be unloaded, secured with a zip tie, and have all magazines emptied.

The show is a private event. As a condition of entry to this private event, all firearms coming into a show must be unloaded and zip-tied and all magazines must be empty and inspected by police officers at the show entrance. The show is posted in accordance with TX 30:05, 30:06 and 30:07.
Only licensed law enforcement officers may carry a loaded firearm inside the show.

The only loaded firearms permitted in the show are the duty weapons of licensed law enforcement officers and they must be unloaded if the individual will be removing it from the holster for shopping purposes.
Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Minors will not be admitted into the show without an accompanying parent or legal guardian.
Clothing displaying profanity or inappropriate language must be covered, turned inside out, or removed from view.

This is a family-friendly event, and appropriate attire is required while attending the show.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.
