Attendee Information: Safety, Family & Age Requirements

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly experience for everyone attending the gun show in Fort Worth, TX.

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Dress Code

Profanity on clothing must be removed, turned inside out, or completely covered so it is not visible.

Clothing containing inappropriate or offensive graphics is not permitted.

No inappropriate clothing, merchandise, materials, conduct, or activity will be allowed at the event.

Food & Drinks

Need a break while exploring the show? Food trucks will be available on-site, offering convenient food and drink options for attendees throughout the event. Guests can enjoy their meals in our designated picnic seating area while taking a break from shopping and exploring the show.

No Alcohol Allowed

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, alcohol is not permitted at the North Texas Gun Show. Attendees may not bring alcoholic beverages onto the event premises, and alcohol may not be consumed anywhere on-site.

We appreciate everyone helping us maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for vendors, attendees, and staff.

Firearm & Ammunition Safety Rules

For the safety of all North Texas Gun Show attendees, the following firearm and ammunition policies are strictly enforced:

  1. No loaded firearms or loaded magazines are permitted, except as authorized for law enforcement officers.
  2. No loose cartridges, loaded weapons, or loaded magazines are permitted inside the show.
  3. Ammunition, flares, and similar devices must be sealed in a box, bag, or other appropriate container.
  4. All firearms, including flare guns, must have a zip tie or other locking device installed to render the firearm inoperable.
  5. A show officer or safety team member will inspect firearms and install a zip tie or locking device before entry when required.
  6. If a zip tie or other safety device is removed for any reason, it must be replaced immediately.
  7. No illegal firearms or other items prohibited by law are permitted.
  8. All local, state, and federal laws must be followed regarding firearm sales, purchases, trades, and other transactions.
  9. Laser targeting devices must never be pointed toward another person or in the general direction of attendees.

Random security searches may be conducted as part of the event's safety procedures.

Texas Entry & Firearms Notices

The North Texas Gun Show is posted in accordance with applicable Texas Penal Code Sections 30.05, 30.06, and 30.07 requirements.

All attendees, vendors, exhibitors, and guests are expected to comply with applicable Texas and federal laws while attending the event.

NOTICE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THIS PRIVATE EVENT

All firearms entering the show must be unloaded, secured with a zip tie, and have all magazines emptied.

The show is a private event. As a condition of entry to this private event, all firearms coming into a show must be unloaded and zip-tied and all magazines must be empty and inspected by police officers at the show entrance. The show is posted in accordance with TX 30:05, 30:06 and 30:07.

Only licensed law enforcement officers may carry a loaded firearm inside the show.

The only loaded firearms permitted in the show are the duty weapons of licensed law enforcement officers and they must be unloaded if the individual will be removing it from the holster for shopping purposes.

Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Minors will not be admitted into the show without an accompanying parent or legal guardian.

Clothing displaying profanity or inappropriate language must be covered, turned inside out, or removed from view.

This is a family-friendly event, and appropriate attire is required while attending the show.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Entry into this private event is subject to compliance with all event rules, safety requirements, and policies.
